My visit to London between the two recent terrorist-related attacks. Day 2
We were staying in the Grosvenor Hotel at Victoria. The room was superb on the First Floor Wing. The hotel has 6 Floors. Our friend was on the 6th floor and counted all they steps down.
The hotel was very busy and the breakfast service was also busy. It was not helped by the small area where the buffet was located. Today, it wasn't too bad but the next day, it was chaotic.
The first visit of the day was to Kensington Palace, a place I knew well as my old friend used to live there.
We went to the State Apartments to see Lady Diana's Dresses. Well worth a visit but prebook.

We left and walked across Kensington Park Gardens to Queensway Tube Station. It was a hot and sunny day.
We travelled to Monument and walked to the Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street. It is free to go in but you are advised to book in advance.
